Project Fellows

Rashtriya Ucchatar Shiksha Abhiyan (RUSA 2.0) is a  Centrally Sponsored National Scheme for funding State Level Institutions to mainly improve overall quality of existing State higher educational institutions. RUSA funded project (project number :09) under the theme ‘Biotechnology’ has been sanctioned at the School of Biosciences, Mahatma Gandhi University for the academic year 2023-2024, and is currently being implemented in the department.

Title of the project: “Designer probiotics to mitigate the combined abiotic and pathogen stress in plants by deciphering the molecular crosstalk between Oryza sativa and its microbiome”.

2	Dr. Priya VK Research Associate priyavk85@gmail.com		Dr. Priya completed PhD in Bioinformatics from CSIR-Centre for Cellular and Molecular Biology. Later she did her post-doctoral work in Synthetic and Systems Biology Unit, HUN-REN Biological Research Centre, Szeged, Hungary. She has also taught as an adhoc faculty at National Institute of Technology Calicut
